GLO Whitening

In Office Whitening Before GLO (shade-A3.5) After GLO (shade-A1)

In order to achieve the maximum amount of brightness, it is best to have a cleaning within 6 months of your in office GLO Whitening.

HOW IT WORKS

GLO (short for Guided Light Optics) allows the mouthpiece to not only illuminate like traditional whitening systems, but also to gently warm up the whitening gel placed on your teeth. This speeds up the whitening process and brightens your teeth safely. A whitening gel is placed on the row of teeth that are being treated. The whitening gel’s active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide and the heat is an effective catalyst to us in conjunction with hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth quickly. The GLO light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide, allowing oxygen to enter the enamel and dentin, bleaching colored and stained areas and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. The structure of the tooth is unharmed and stays exactly the same. The GLO teeth whitening system is combined with home bleaching to give maximum and desirable results.

Take-Home Whitening: Some patients prefer to use a teeth whitening procedure that they can take home. The take-home whitening kits can be used in conjunction with an in-office procedure to maintain the brilliant whiteness between treatments. Using the take-home kits in this manner is especially helpful if you smoke or drink a lot of staining beverages, such as coffee or tea. The great advantage of this system is you have full control over how white your teeth get and you can touch them up rather inexpensively and without having to come to the office. GLO teeth whitening gel stays in place without the messy strips or uncomfortable whitening trays

In-Office Whitening: When at-home whiteners aren’t doing the trick, it might be time to consider professional tooth whitening at our dental office. We offer the latest in tooth whitening technology with the GLO PRO system. With just one in-office session, your teeth will be “glowing”
